Curios incident Journal

Journal 1
example

From the first paragraph of the book I have learned that Christopher can be very logical and literal in the sense that he can not really feel emotions as much. Christopher is very good at math coming from that he knows so many prime numbers and that he mentioned he was very good at math.

Christopher seems to be very observant and that he sees things in places that other people don't and that if he goes to a place he has been he notices things that have changed with great detail and perspective. I feel that some people just miss these types of things and that they could look into a place more thoroughly than just walking through and seeing nothing but things that are blatant to the eye.

I think that people that have high functioning autism or aspergers are so literal and that is the reason that they cannot feel emotions. People with aspergers grow up having a very different life than people without like they have to go to a special school when available and they need to be supported a lot more.

The journey

Christopher faces a large journey in this book that sees him face great challenges and overcome some of the obstacles that people think that he has from being autistic. Some great challenges he must face include finding who killed wellington, and finding his mother when he finds out she is not dead.

Christopher finds out who killed wellington by talking to people that he doesn't know and people that he doesn't usually interact with. Christopher talks to Mrs Alexander who he has never talked to before and finds out that his mother was having an affair with Mr Shears even after his father said he couldn,t so he has partly developed that he can do many amazing things and overcome obstacles by not listening to what his father says.

When Christopher finds out that his mother did not die he thinks that it is all a lie and that someone is writing to him in her name so that he wil think that she is not dead and that he can go and see her. When Chrisopher hatches the plan to go to Londan he must conquer many obstacles including finding his way to Londan by himself and than getting off the train at the right time and finding his mother's new home with Mr Shears

Romeo and Juliet journals

Journal #3
The views on marrige thus far are as follows:
Paris believes that the father should chose who his daughter should marry and he has the upmost control over this.
Romeo believes that if you are in love you should marry.
Lady Capulet believes that the father should also have total control because that is most likely how she was taught growing up.
Lord Capulet believes that the daughter should have some type of input on who she should marry so if you are not in love with a person you do not have to marry.
My belief is that you should be able to chose who you marry and you shouldn't marry before you are at least 20 because you most likely if you are younger than this are rushing into things and this could create a devastating effect on the out come on the remainder of you life.

Journal #4
i- Juliet talks of Romeo's last name meaning nothing if they are in love because that is a much stronger bond than the separation of the fight between the Capulet and Montague households. Juliet believes that this will make there feud that there parents have will become less and the love of Romeo and herself will bring the two families together in the end and the feud will cease to exist.

ii-This is significant because the moon is ever changing which could create this great changing circle of life that Romeo has and he may fall in love with someone else or they will separate because Romeo changes so much in his life.

iii-This is significant because lightning appears out of nowhere and than it disappears just as fast which could mean that Romeo and Juliet's love will come and go just as fast as lightning comes and goes in a rain storm.

Journal #5

1. Act 1 scene 4 lines 106 to 111
This fore shadows that some consequence will come of the montagues going to the Capulet ball that none of them could imagine and ot talks of an untimely death which could talk about the deaths to come in the play with so many characters.

2.act 2 scene 2 line 64
This line talks of a place of death which could mean where Romeo dies or Juliet or evan Mercutio and Tybalt die and creates a projection that Romeo and Juliet may die in the same place.

2. act 2 scene 2 line 70
This talks of that if any Capulet sees Romeo that hey will kill him and Tybalt sees him at the party and he decides to go after him and kill him at a different time.

Journal #6
I think that Romeo must hear Juliet proclaim her love because she had him proclaim his love and swear upon somthing he deeply cares about so he may think that for the relationship to work he must have an equal and if one of them asks for something than the other must do it to show that hey are equals in the partnership. I think that Romeo may be insecure because he rushed into marrige and he thinks that Juliet is the only thing left in the world for him to care about.

Journal #7
I think that they themselves are most responsoble for there deaths because they think that they can fall in love and marry within five days and this ,akes me feel like they could have slowed it down and maybe they would have avoided them dying. Them slowing down could have prevented Tybalt from killing Mercutio in the sense that if Romeo and Juliet had not wed that Romeo would have fought back against Tybalt and this would have stopped Mercutio from saving Romeo and than Romeo would never have killed Tybalt and he wouldn't have been banished that he could not get the message he was supposed to from friar John
